SAFFRON MATTED VOIDS CYBERAMBIENT MUSIC
saffron matted voids was formed in mid-1998,
and their very first recordings, two very diverse tracks ("furniture music"
and "portrait of emiko with moon and stars") were unique cover versions of songs by bill nelson.
they also collaborated on a
cover of XTC's "miniature sun" for an as-yet-unreleased compilation
CD.
their first full-length CD of original material,
"perchance to dream", was released on February 1,2004. saffron matted
voids is davie blint: ambient guitar, ebow guitar,
and loops, and ken mistove: everything else.
