hello.
after more than ten years of supporting
and encouraging ambient music and musicians with various backgrounds, styles, sounds and
activities, pureambient.com now brings, to a hopefully graceful close, it's period
of active duty.
what remains here at this site is a
snapshot, a moment in time...
...a particular vision of ambient music from 1995 -
2005...pure, simple and hopefully, sometimes, beautiful. the artists that graced these
pages have all moved on, mostly to bigger and better things, most now have their
own websites and their own stories to tell.
where known, we have placed links to
current artists' websites...where unknown, only time and history can tell where
these artists and their music will go.
